Who

Hester Bos has 24 years of experience in real estate and international litigation practice. She advises multinationals, real estate investors and other professional landlords. In 2000, Hester graduated in Dutch law from the University of Groningen. She completed the specialisation course of the Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten in 2007 and completed the Supervisory Course of Nyenrode Business University in 2013.

From December 2000 to 2006, Hester was a lawyer at NautaDutilh in Rotterdam. From November 2004 to May 2005, she was seconded to the arbitration section of the US firm Debevoise & Plimpton in London. From 2006 to November 2010, Hester was a partner and co-founder at BASE Advocaten in Rotterdam. Subsequently, Hester worked as a partner at Legaltree in Leiden, until she decided to broaden her horizons and make a switch to the corporate world.

From November 2014 to September 2016, Hester worked as Head of Legal for Koninklijke Grolsch (part of SABMiller). In that position, she was ultimately responsible for all legal matters of the company and acted as advisor to the Executive Board on strategic legal issues.

In September 2016, Hester started HBLegal, first as an attorney and since November 2022 as legal counsel. Hester also holds various ancillary positions in the not-for-profit sector.
